Eyes
Often, it’s the eyes that say everything about a person. Chinese women are a perfect example, embracing their femininity while also exhibiting strength and independence. Their rich cultural background instills these qualities, resulting in an alluring beauty that captivates many.
When drawing an eye, make sure to draw the outline with a light pencil and erase any areas that fall outside of the actual size of the eye. Then, sketch the sclera (the white part of the eye) and add an iris (the colored part). Make sure to shade well so that it looks realistic.
It is common for children to depict their eyes in a more stylized way than they would be if drawn accurately, due to the influences from art, animation and movies that they see. This is why it’s important to focus on the basics of drawing faces before trying to add these more stylized features.
To draw the lower eyelashes, sketch a line that is slightly curved and a bit wider than the upper ones. Then add a few small lines near the end of the line to represent the actual eyelashes. Finally, add a little curve at the outer corner of the eye to finish the shape.
When dating a Chinese woman, remember to respect her traditions and celebrate her holidays. This will demonstrate that you value her culture and will strengthen your bond. It’s also important to communicate openly and honestly with her about your expectations so there are no misunderstandings. Also, avoid stereotyping, as it can lead to misunderstandings and harmful biases.
Mouth
With their delicate and graceful beauty paired with fascinating personalities, Chinese women are mesmerizing to be around. Their values are deeply rooted in their rich culture, and they embrace elegance and grace in everything they do. They are known for their chivalrous nature and willingness to help others, making them truly irresistible.
The mouth is the most expressive part of a person’s face, and it’s what gives faces their emotion. Chinese women are no exception, and their lips can show an array of expressions like happy, grumpy, excited, angry, confused or even sly. When drawing a mouth, it’s important to keep in mind these different emotions. To draw a face with accurate proportions, start by drawing two circles for the upper and lower lips. Vary the size of these circles depending on how big or small you want your lips to be. You can also add a vertical line to help you align your drawing.
Once you have the basic outline of your mouth, draw a horizontal line and a U-shaped line directly below it. The longer this horizontal line is, the larger your lips will be. For thinner lips, reduce the length of this line to about half its original width. Next, draw the bottom lip. Depending on how large or thin you’d like your lips to be, draw a curved line that extends slightly beyond the bottom of the triangle construction lines and connects with the top of the vertical line.
Once you’ve drawn the outline of your mouth, erase the guide circles and create a middle line that curves around the edges of the two lower circles and the bottom of the upper circle. You can also add more curved lines to create the details of your lips.
Ears
In China, elf ears have become the latest fad amid the country’s rapid growth in cosmetic surgery. A Guangzhou surgeon recently said he would refuse to cut the cartilage of young people who want their ears shaped like those of elves in movies, saying such procedures are a waste of money and could be dangerous if they lead to ear infections.
Drawing an ear is similar to drawing noses or hands in that you can use a lot of different value scales to get crazy shapes and textures. It’s ok to scribble and draw some rough lines to get the main shape down- but the real magic happens when you start shading!!! Ears are great for practicing the value scale and getting your sketch to come to life!
Hair
In ancient China, women were so obsessed with their hair that they wouldn’t even show it to people except for their husbands. So when she playsfully touches her tresses or looks in your direction during conversations, it could be a clear indication that she’s really into you. But don’t worry, she probably won’t scream it from the rooftops. Instead, look for subtle body language signals like leaning in to have a closer chat and sharing her contact details without hesitation- those are clear signs she’s smitten!
To draw the hair, start by drawing a big curved line. Add two more curved lines coming down from it, then link the two last lines with another big curved line.
Legs
The leg in a chinese woman is a little different from the one of a man. The knee is shaped like a rectangle and has an inner curve that borders the space with a not-so-protruding line. The thigh also has a curve that is lower than the one of the knee.
The foot is formed by a truncated pyramid that has a distance similar to the circle of the knee. We can draw the fingers (in this case two). The big toe is bigger and the smaller ones decrease in size until reaching the ankle. It’s important to remember that the feet flexes front to back. Therefore the structure should be flexible to give a natural appearance. You can make it more rigid to represent a standing figure, or less so to give it a walking pose.
